COTEVOS project kicks off

14 November, 2013

The project consortium of COTEVOS, composed of eleven partners working on Electric Vehicles and Smart Grids, held its first project meeting in Bilbao, Spain, in October 2013. Five research institute partners are accompanied by two universities, three companies and one association, altogether coming from nine European countries.

During COTEVOS project, the partners develop new tools and methods for testing Elecric Vehicles and their smart charging.

“Interfaces and other complementary developments in the Smart Grid must be addressed to assure the correct interoperability and full integration of Electric Vehicles,” states the Project Coordinator Dr. Eduardo Zabala from TECNALIA. “COTEVOS will provide necessary tools for the development of the new Smart Grid by highlighting valid testing procedures and the need for proper testing infrastructure capacities.”
